Thanks... Last slice

Thanks…

Dear my first AS spring overnight,

Thank you for making sure we had a lot of fun and learned in the process. Although sometimes you made me mad, usually because I wanted more time, you were the best trip I have been on so far. You did a great job making this a fantastic trip. I had a great time in DC and in Chesapeake Bay. All of the museums were awesome, thank you for letting me see them. Thank you for making everything we did in Chesapeake fun.
Overall, I just wanted to say…

Thank you, I had a great time.

Sincerely,
Anika

P.S. Thanks for down pouring on us. :)

The Fault in Our Stars

The Fault in Our Stars
John Green

The Fault in Our Stars is a book about a girl named Hazel Grace who has cancer. She goes to a club where she meets other people like her. Hazel really doesn’t like the club until she meets a boy by the name of Augustus. Hazel falls in love with Augustus and Augustus with her.

So far I really like this book and I hope to have it done by next week.  I think it is a great story and it is very interesting to read a book from the eyes of a person who has cancer.

Picture Books!!

Picture books!

This week I read a bunch of picture books, my favorite one was called Magic Trash by J.H. Shapiro and illustrated by Vanessa Brantley-Newton.
It is about this artist, Tyree Guyton, who turns trash into art. I liked it because I liked how they used picture books to tell a real story and the illustrations were really good. I also just like picture books.

This week I’m reading The Martian and Wednesday Wars.

SOL#10 Rainy Day

Rainy day

Rain is beautiful,
Rain is good.

For the environment because we are dry.

Rain is fun,
Rain becomes rubber ducky races.

Every day, one by one they float.

In case you haven’t noticed,
I like rain.
