Colors SOLMC#9

Colors

Thursday and Friday were Holi, the festival of colors. This is an awesome festival and our whole family has lots of fun on it.

We walked into the parking lot of the Sai Baba Temple and saw a huge group of people caked in multicolored powder. I walked into the parking lot holding a platter of Gujia (Sweet Empanada like things) Samar was holding the base of a lemonade dispenser filled with cups and a spoon to mix the drink we had bought. We walked into the temple and saw people eating food and washing the colored powder off their faces.

We put all of our stuff down and went outside. Colors flew around us and color was rubbed on our faces. Our friends threw colors on us and smiled.

“Happy Holi!!!!!”
